Maass Musical provides our valued customers with the very best in sales representation. Our 30 years of experience in retail and wholesale provide the knowledge necessary to help our clients choose the right musical instrument. Our reputation is built on serving our clients and providing quality instruments and supplies. Only companies that produce superior products are represented. We will, at all times, consider our clients needs and be truthful with the musical instrument companies we represent.

Mike Maass - Founder
After several years in retail music store management, Mike Maass went to work for Vito Pascucci at G. Leblanc Corp., Kenosha, Wisconsin. Mike became the district sales manager for Leblanc's home territory, serving dealers in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa. During that time Mike and his family relocated from the Milwaukee area to Hudson, Wisconsin (near Minneapolis/St. Paul) to be more centrally located.
Mike later became district sales manager for Getzen Company, Inc. just after the Getzens (Allied) bought the Getzen Company back into the Getzen family. He helped set up Getzen dealerships in areas including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and later the upper Midwest area (previously worked for Leblanc). In 1999 Mike became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Getzen, relocating back to Milwaukee area. He also handled export sales for Getzen, calling on all the key European Getzen distributors. During this period Maass' also started construction on a second home in Northern Wisconsin.
In 2005 Mike left Getzen to help Eastman Strings set up a new brass division, working in Los Angeles, California.
In 2006 Mike and his wife moved back to Hudson, Wisconsin, near their two sons and many dear friends. Mike has always enjoyed working with dealers, educators and musicians in the role of manufacturer representative.
In 2010 they moved their offices to their Northern Wisconsin home in Harshaw, near the beautiful Minocqua lakes area about 40 miles north of Wausau. Being centrally located and in easy travel distance to all the major Midwest customers, Maass' will continue to expand their rep business and dealer base.
